Courses of Study and Method of Teaching

  1. The prescribed Taitreya Sakha in Krishna Yajur Veda Moola-Pada-Krama-Jatha-Ghanantham, is being taught in the traditional method at present in the Vedagurukulam. Normally it takes about 10 to 12 years of intense hard work to acquire mastery in one Sakha of the Vedas.
  2.  After successfully completing the prescribed course, if the students want to learn shastras like Shadanga Moolam(Siksha,Vyakarna, Chandaha, Niruktha,Jyotisha and Apasthamba Kalpasootra), Prasthanatriya(Srimadh Bhagavath Geeta Bhasyam, Brahmasutra Bhasyam, Upanishad Bhasyam) written by Jagathguru Adishankara Charya is also taught in the vedagurukulam.
  3. Veda bhashya, Vedanta, Nyaya, Vyakarna , Mimamsa and other difficult disciplines, arrangements are also made accordingly to facilitate their learning.
  4.  Currently students from Andhra pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka are undergoing gurukulavasa and learning veda.
