Vidyardhis actively participate in the spiritual activities such as homas, yajnas and other spiritual events. Sri Datta Jayanthi is celebrated in a grand manner with Veda parayanam, nitya homa, japa, anushtanas, bhojanam etc. to all by inviting the renowned vedic pandits. Other prominent religious functions like Ramanavami, Janmashtami, Narasimha Jayanthi, Subramanya Sashti, Sharan navaratri, Guru Purnima and Vedapatasala Annual day(Varshikotsavam) etc are celebrated religiously without fail. 

1) Natural breed cows are divine. Scriptures dictate that serving such cows will burn away our sins and bless us with prosperity. Every day, a batch of Vidyardhis visit gosala and serve the cows – give them fodder, a bath and clean the gosala.

2) Vidyardhis are encouraged to play various indoor and outdoor games which develop their problem solving skills, overcoming physical and mental challenges.

3) Vidyardhis have tours encouraging them to learn and get examined from various eminent vedic pundits from other Mutts, Peethams, and Vedic Institutions’.

4) Vidyardhis not only learn to sing devotional songs and bhajans, they do the bhajan every day after the evening Sandhayavandhanam and Samidhadanam.

5) Every month First Sunday SivaPanchayathana Abhisekham and archana for the devotees of the Vedagurukulam.
