Celebrating 25 Years of Vedic Tradition: Invitation to Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam’s Silver Jubilee

We are delighted to share a momentous occasion for the spiritual community. Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam (Regd.) in Rajamahendravaram is cordially inviting devotees to their Silver Jubilee (25th Annual) Grand Celebrations.

Established in the year 2000 to mark the new millennium, the Gurukulam has spent a quarter of a century combining Vedic study with righteous rituals under the guidance of revered scholars.+1

📅 Event Overview

With the grace of the Supreme Lord, the Gurukulam has resolved to conduct extensive programs to mark this anniversary. The primary goal of these rituals is to please the deities, ensure the welfare of donors, and promote harmony among all beings.+1

  • Venue: Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam, Veda Godavari Marg, Sitarama Agraharam, Konthamuru, Rajamahendravaram.

🕉️ Program Highlights & Schedule

The celebrations will span ten days, featuring the Sampoorna Krishna Yajurveda Havanam as a central event. Here is the detailed schedule:

The Grand Commencement

  • Friday, 07/11/2025: The event begins at 8:30 AM with Ganapati Puja and the Sankalpam (resolution) for the Havanam. This includes the selection of priests (Ritvigvaranam) and the installation of the fire (Agni Pratishthapanam).

Daily Rituals (Nov 7 – Nov 12)

  • Mornings & Afternoons: Veda Havanam will take place daily from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Evenings: Starting at 6:00 PM, devotees can witness Neerajana Mantrapushpamulu (lamp offerings) and Ashtavadhana Seva.

Special Auspicious Events

  • Sunday, 09/11/2025 (Kartika Ardra Nakshatra): A full day of worship from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM featuring the Ekadashavara Rudrabhishekam.+1
    • This includes Laksha Bilvarchanam (worship with 100,000 Bilva leaves) to the Sri Samba Sadashiva Panchayatanam (comprising Vishnu, Aditya, Ganapati, Ambika, and Samba Sadashiva).
    • Note: A general body meeting for the Executive Committee and permanent members will also be held at 4:00 PM on this day.
  • Thursday, 13/11/2025: The Sri Krishna Yajurveda Havanam continues, concluding with the Maha Purnahuti (grand final offering) and Shanti Kalyanam at 10:00 AM.
  • Friday, 14/11/2025:
    • Morning: Special worship (Vishesha Archana) for the idols of Sri Dattatreya, Gayatri, and Shankaracharya.
    • Laksha Kumkumarchanam: Worship with 100,000 portions of vermilion to Sri Gauri Parameshwari, performed by Suvasini (married) women.
  • Saturday, 15/11/2025:
    • Morning: Panchayatana Yagam and Purnahuti.
    • Evening (4:00 PM): The Gurukulam Silver Jubilee Chaturveda Shastra Pandita Sabha—a conclave of scholars of the four Vedas. This session will also include the release of a special Souvenir and the felicitation of scholars.+1
  • Sunday, 16/11/2025 (Conclusion): On the auspicious day of Hasta-Aditya Samyogam, the event concludes with Avahanti Homam and Aruna Parayanam.
